Outer bark yellowish brown, ridged to scaly; inner bark light yellow
Leaves simple, opposite, elliptical-oblong to broadly oblanceolate, 8-14 x 3-6, with 8-12 pairs of indistinct secondary veins, petiol fairy long
Flowers terminal, subsessile, paniculate, densely flowered; individual flowers, white; calyx c. 10 mm long
Fruits globose, c. 15 mm in diameter, greenish.
